User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI ALSO HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH MACLINCRUX. I HAVE BEEN TO PIZZA PASTA & BREW MANY TIMES ALONE AND WITH MY TWO CHILDREN. IT IS DEFINITELY "KID FRIENDLY", WITH THE TELEVISIONS FOR THEM TO WATCH AND I HAVE ALWAYS RECEIVED EXCELLENT SERVICE. THE OWNER "JOE" IS VERY ACCOMODATING AND COURTEOUS AND HIS WAITRESSES ARE VERY PLEASANT. THE CHICKEN SCARPIELLO IS MY FAVORITE AND THE MY CHILDREN CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THE PENNE VODKA. I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT HE IS SPEAKING OF THE SAME PLACE.
I THINK IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO DINE, MAYBE MACLINCRUX'S TASTE BUDS WERE OFF THAT DAY.-

I would have to completely disagree with the review from macklincrux. My roommates and I have visted Pizza Pasta Brew numerous times both together and with our families. The menu is extensive and the specials are a great deal. I think they have the best wings in the area and a great deal when buying in bulk for the game. On the majority of occasions, the owner, Joe, has been present and checked in with us to see how are food was. Friendly service and good food, what else could you ask for?

The service was pretty bad considereing we were the only two people in the restaurant. My firend and I ordered the Cobb Salad & a Pasta Dish in addition to a pizza. It wasn't very good. The salad was very last minute thrown together and the pasta and pizza were horrible. It was a little over priced but so is everything in Darien. The one great thing is that the had Stewart's Diet Root Beer which is fantastic and very hard to find but at those price I and the lousy food, next time I'll go elsewhere.
