I disagree with the positive review above, this place is really bad, however since it is a local business we support it, go to NYC if you want to see a real running store.

These are the reasons why I don't like this store:
1) They hire overweight people who don't run
2) Although they do sponsor a few local races they don't really contribute much to the local running community for example running training programs or weekly runs from the store and etc. Generally all top running stores do these virtually costless and revenue generating activities, but not at this store. The staff there don't seem to be enthusiastic about running.
3) I always get this feeling that the poeple who work there hate their jobs, it is really annoying and uncomfortable. As an example, once the owner was carrying a bunch of boxes and he dropped them. He started yelling out and cursing in the middle of the store. When he was finished he came over to me and sort of looked at me a certain way which communicated 'just hurry up and buy'. This happened a few years back and caused me not to come back for a long time.
4) They are slightly behind the latest running trends.

Without a doubt, the friendliest, most knowledgeable running store in the area. They are not big, so the inventory is not plentiful--but they go out of their way to stock the store with stuff that is useable and nice. In other words, they dont have a lot of junk. Highly recommended.
