User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis lawyer came recommended to me by another lawyer I knew who was unable to take the case himself. I was told that I needed a "tough" lawyer and that he would fit the bill. I called him and spoke to an assistant and was told he would call me back that day. I heard from him several days later. We spoke and he seemed interested in the case and I was told that he would contact me shortly thereafter. He did not, in fact no one from his office did for over a week and a half! Finally, two days before court he let me know he would take the case and changed the date last minute. This threw everything off for my work schedule. I then brought my daughter-in-law to meet with him and discuss some details, he was extremely short and rude with her and treated her as though she had no involvement in the case, even though she had more stake in it than anyone. He then told me that we couldn't win, so should not bother trying and should come to an agreement with the plaintiff. He said he would fax me a copy prior to the court date...he never did! When we showed up to court I was dismayed to find him unshaven, with wrinkled pants and a mismatched suit jacket. I proceeded to read over the typed agreement he had made up and was blown away to find he had left out a very key point which we had made clear was very important and when I asked why he once again gave me the attitude that the plaintiff would never agree, so why bother trying! When my son and daughter-in-law tried asking him why he wasn't helping us on this point, he raised his voice at them and acted very combative. We realized at court that day that we had definately chosen the wrong lawyer! By this time, however, it was too late and we ended up going along with the agreement Mr. Lubus had drawn up. I really want to tell anyone out there considering hiring Attny. Lubus that you ought to reconsider or at least shop around a little more. Me and my entire family involved in this case were EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED in his performance, or lack thereof.

"The Terminator": I have use Ray Lubus for several cases including criminal, child custody, and business law. Every case resulted in a mch better than expected outcome. Bottom line you would be crazy not hire him as your attorney

The "Terminator", you're joking right ? The only thing "terminated" ought to be his liscense to practice law.

He (Lubus) conspired with the Plantiffs Attorney AND State Prosecutors (intentionally buried evidence, kept witnesses from testifying, etc)When he (Lubus) took me back to court for 10k (i previously did not pay due to misrepresentation and fraud) The Judge ruled in his favor and ignored all my testimony
