Wild Rice

Was recommended by my wife. We arrived mid Sunday afternoon when they were obviously waiting for a gap in trade so they could have something to eat en masse instead of staggering their breaks. Cold food and beer at room temperature. Wouldn't go back if I were paid to.

We accidentally found this place about a year back as we were traveling from Massachusettes back to NJ via The Merrit Pkwy. Just took a chance and got off exit 40 looking for something to eat, this was the first place we saw, so we pulled in. We were so lucky to stumble upon Wild Rice, it was unbelievably good/great. Great service, very fresh food / sushi. I ordered some chinese dishes, and my wife ordered sushi, we also got soup, salad etc (we were very hungry) After our first time there, we mentioned it to some people we know in the Stamford area, they are now regulars. This is now our regular dinner place every time we return from a family visit in Massachusettes. Highly Highly recommended!

We love Wild Rice! It is well priced and the food is excellent. The menu has several selections and the sushi is so fresh. It is a great compromise restaurant for a couple with only one sushi lover :) I agree with other reviewers, the Won Ton soup is the best I've had. All of their sushi rolls are amazing and even their desserts are a tasty treat!I really think Wild Rice is an untapped resource but I am so glad we discovered it. My fiance and I dine there any time we are in the mood for Asian food. Definitely worth trying.
