Don's Sandwich Shop

This sandwich shop is run by the nicest people I have ever met. I work in town, so I'm there at least every other day for lunch. Sometimes I even stop in after work to bring a sandwich home to my wife. This place has been a Boonton tradition for over 30 years. With this place right on Main St., it boggles my mind that anyone goes down to the new chain "sandwich" shops in the strip mall and pay more for an inferior "sandwich." Here's the gist about Don's: The sandwiches are excellent, the prices are very low, and the service is super friendly. What's not to love?

There's no place in the world like Don's. I've never found a sandwich shop anyplace else that even comes close. I'm moving to Florida in April and don't know what I'm going to do without my weekly turkey ham & swiss sub. :-(

Great Little Place.: The sandwiches here are very, very good. It is also quite in tune with neighborhood happenings. If you really want to get a feel for what life in Boonton is like, spend a few hours sitting in this place. You will hear some great conversations while enjoying some great food. Everyone that comes in here is friendly and the owners make you feel like family.
