the hot food is lousy, its expensive and the staff is nasty to their customers.

Fair Ridge Deli is the place to be ...great prices, great quality of food and the owner puts the customer first before anything.

I was a customer this past Sunday at the Metropolitan Cafe-- a woman i know from town was being screamed at by the manager and the cops were called in for a no reason. she simply made a complaint apparently that's been on going...he came out of the store like a gorilla and said get the f out of the store i'm sick of you and your complaining. I've seen her many times in the store and she barely says a word.

she's well known in this town and well respected...Metropolitan Cafe will never see me or my family again, i will make sure my co-workers never show up a that awful place. He looked like he was going to deck her -- he had to be held back by 2 others when he charged physically for her. He is a disgrace and should have been terminated on the spot. he,'s was the laughing stock of the Metropolitan Cafe parking lot and most of all Fairview. 5 stars to that woman 0 stars the Cafe

service/food are great. the owners work harder then the actual staff! the daily waitress is terrific...however.there are 2 strange people there.. one of them..i think is the short order cook who has a habit of biting customers heads off when you have a complaint or request-he basically doesn't handle it and says the problem is your fault...the woman...noone knows who she is and truthfully noone cares however she also has a habit of biting the customers heads off also, I'm not sure if she has a physical twitching problem or she just gives rude physical gestures towards people..i think management needs to monitor how some of their staff is acting and how they are speaking to the customers. Its still a 4 rating and truthfully good stuff...the downside is if short order cook is in a bad mood you better run for cover. Please folks stop by the Cafe...you get a great breakfast and free entertainment for under $10!
