User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI HAVE BEEN GOING TO TOPS FOR ALMOST 40 YEARS, MENU IS CHANGED NOW SO THE DISH I WOULD ALMOST ALWAYS ORDER FOR DINNER ISN'T ON THE MENU, BUT THEY PREPARE IT FOR ME SPECIAL !!!!!!! I MISSED THE PLACE WHEN IT WAS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS, I TAKE ALL MY FRIENDS THERE, WAS THERE LAST NITE, HAD STEAK DINNER WITH COCONUT CAKE, YUM YUM! I SPEND WAY TOO MUCH $$$ THERE BUT WHAT CAN I DO, I LUV IT, I LIVE SO CLOSE WE CAN WALK THERE!!!!!

My girlfriend goes to Rutgers, so I've been coming here quite a bit this past year. I love the food, and the portions are always great for what you pay. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is sometimes the service is not up to par. For example, last time I went my girlfriend asked for a strawberry shake, and the waitress told her she didn't like her (and no, she wasn't joking) because that meant she had to make the shake herself. I was ready to flip out, but once she realized how angry I was she made the shake and was tolerable the rest of the night...

Ate here just the other day, and it was another satisfying meal! I recommend saving room for dessert and ordering the red velvet cheesecake, it is out of this world.
