The Ritz Diner has always been a favorite stop for my friends and I. It's great for the high school crowd, with AMAZING food for a low price that we (the unemployed teens of the world) can afford. The speech and debate team as well as the color guard of my high school, make the Ritz one of their traditional stops after a tournament or game, and we enjoy every minute of our time there together. Although they do have their off days, overall, it's a wonderful place, with good people, and great food.
This place sucks. It is filthy and the service is painfully slow. The food is OK - so consider takeout before you stay to eat.
This diner is a double edged sword. We've been here twice and the food is GREAT but the atmosphere is loud and uncomfortable. I love kids, hey I work with them but when I'm out trying to enjoy a good meal I don't want them yelling, crying or running around me. What would make this diner more favorable is a 'NO KIDS' section. So if you want great food and don't mind the noise or being cramped in, go for it!
P.S... Their pastries look AWESOME!
