Mike's Tavern

Mike's Tavern is a Hole in the wall type of bar serving a limited menu on Friday and Saturday night. They have one little pool table in the back of the bar...and local pool leagues meet in rotation at Mike's. Drinks are decent and are average priced. Open until about 2:30 am most nights. Bobby is the owner. Bartenders are pretty friendly but they're old school and do not play games. Caters to a mature neighborhood crowd (35-60+) most week nights. Lots of TVs Has that new hi-tech jukebox available for your listening pleasure. Some Fridays the young-heads (21-32) try to take over about 10pm. Can get crowded and like any bar of this type, can get a little rowdy. Security is present and manages any occasional disturbance. As a long time patron of this bar (off and on since 1995) I have to say the cleanliness of the bar has gone down. Bobby could make some refurbishments but he hasn't... that's just how he is. In any event, if you're looking for a spot to chill and have a drink or two, listen to music that you select and pay for without complaints, or just fade into the scenery and watch the tube, Mike's may just be the place for you.
