User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI first met Mrs McCrea back in 1986. She was only a CAC back then. I knew her through my church. She met w/ me at the church and helped me begin to address some ACOA issues. I think what impressed me most was her genuine caring heart and her innovative treatment concepts. Mostly, though it was her caring. I had never known someone who cared so much about her clients. She is a good and trustworthy lady, and I'm proud that she went on to become a Psychologist. She was my Mother in Christ and an excellent therapist. With Carol it's not just book knowledge either. She has had her own struggles with some of these issues, so she actually knows what you are going through. In my opinion, that counts far more than book learning alone. I've studied psychology myself,and while books and education can give you the tools, only life experience can give you true empathy. She has recieved her education in the school of life as well as in Seton Hall. Anyone would be fortunate to have her as a counselor.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI first met Carol McCrea back around 1989. She was probably my 6th or 7th therapist. She is the person responsible for my going to a 12 step meeting and from there realizing that all the "stuff" that had happened to me was of my own making. Dr. Carol McCrea opened my eyes to recovery, healing, what spiritually really is and most of all honesty with myself and with others. I was blessed to have her in my life.

I was referred to Carol back in 1989 and continue to touch base with her now, 20 yrs later! She has a heart of gold, has compassion and most trustworthy and confidential therapist I have ever met. She provided me with the tools to live my life to the fullest as a healthy, wholesome and spiritual woman. Truly an excellent therapist and I never hesitate referring someone to her. Thank you Carol, you have been a blessing in my life.
