Love this place! Been going to Jose's in New Providence for well over 15 years... stoked that now there is another location right down the road, in Warren. The food at Jose's is always fresh and delicious - they make awesome soup. Their guacamole and their salsa are by far the best I've ever had and the service is always top-notch. Absolutely the best place for Mexican around!
Best Mexican Food: The food here is fantastic!!! By far the best Mexican Food you will find in New Jersey. It's fresh, tasty and priced just right. I work nearby so my co-workers and I make a habit of going at least once a week. I am so addicted I now go there for dinner with my wife, and I live in Monmouth County, over 1 hour away.....It's that good!!!!
Absolutely the Best Mexican food in New Jersey: I first discovered Jose's while dating my now wife. We started at the New Providence location. Excellent flavor, excellent selection. Later, when we moved to Manville we discovered Jose's other location, on Washington Valley Road in Warren. The food was just as good, and the service excellent. Neither location has a liquor license, but they will provide you with set up if you bring your own. Their salsa and guacamole are so good that alone with their home made tortillas they would be satisfying. Admitedly, both my wife and I have gotten into something of a rut, where we usually get the same thing, but then, we've been coming here for so long we have tried most things on the menu. I have even altered my commute home from Newark to take advantage of Jose's take out! Pretty much every other week, sometimes more often than that, I'll phone in from I-78 and swing in just as it comes out of the oven. Twelve minutes later I'm home, and that's that. If you like mexican food (and I'm not talking ChiChi's here), then you absolutely have to try Jose's.
