User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Chart House in Weehawken is a fabulous place to go for great food, great staff and awesome view. My husband took me there for my birthday. We arrived a little early and asked for a table by the window. We had a 10 minute wait so off to the bar for a drink. The bartender was terrific. It's worth going just to hang out at the bar and order the bar food. When our table was ready every person on the staff we came in contact with treated us like we were royalty. Our waiter, Bill, was exceptional. They have a special Autumn menu which includes a pear walnut salad. It was so huge I had to take most of it home. I had the sea bass which was delicious and my husband had the NY Strip steak. He said it was done to perfection. We ordered the lava cake ahead of time for dessert and mine had a candle in it. If you love chocolate you will be in ecstasy after the first spoonful. I like the fact that Bill didn't hover around us every 5 minutes asking if everything was OK. He knew when to leave us alone. We never felt rushed like you do in some restaurants. When we were leaving every person on the staff we encountered had a smile and a kind word as we passed by. I can't wait to go back again. It's a wonderful place to take a special date or celebrate a special occasion. The only downside is the noise. It is a little difficult to hear the person next to you or across from you, but I didn't mind it. It's not meant to be a cozy intimate restaurant.

We dine at the Chart House weekly, the food is exceptional, the view is tremendous but the best part of our weekly dinner is our server; TRACEY G.

Awesome food, amazing atmosphere, we had the most perfect table overlooking the blissful Hudson River...and the best part...when my husband Proposed to me :)
