The exterior of the building is laced with huge imposing columns, whereas the interior is designed in Egyptian and Greek styles. Luciano Pavarotti, Sarah Vaughan, Marian Anderson, Lily Pons, the Boston and Cleveland Symphony Orchestras, and the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo have performed at this venue. It has a 2,800-seater hall, a 1,000-seater Terrace Ballroom, a 200-seater box theater and a dance studio.
