User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMadonn' .. this is what grandmas Italian kitchen all about . the food is traditional as it gets, and the ambience reminds me of the places where ganster flicks are shot. the chicken murphy and chicken savoy the trademark. Don't leave without one order of cavetelli and pot cheese. Not to mention the shrimp beeps and fried hot peppers(well done of course). Nothing like it and nothing compares. Don't leave Jersey without visiting Uncle Juniors old neighborhood classic.

Phenomenal Food: This is where you go if you care more about food than ambience and/or service. Not that the service is poor in any way, it's just not fall-all-over-you solicitous. The place is one room with a bar, it's loud, it's always crowded, and cash is the only way to pay the tab, but it's the best "real" meal you'll ever eat.
