CROSS TECHNOLOGY

DEAR PPL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS PLACE FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS AND I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM. THEY ARE REALLY INEXPENSIVE, PROFESSIONAL, AND COURTEOUS UNLIKE STAPLES, BEST BUY'S GEEK SQUAD, AND MICROCENTER. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE WITH A LAPTOP OR PC , OR PRINTER ISSUE. THEY'LL GET IT FIXED RELATIVELY QUICK AND INEXPENSIVE. UNLIKE MOST PLACES THEY ARE CLEAN AND HONEST.

This place is terrible. The owner (big Indian guy) can't be understood and he has terrible people skills. Most of the techs I saw don't speak English and had no idea what I was talking about when referring to my computer, which came back worse then when I gave it to them and they tried to charge me 75$ for the labor cost and 150$ for a (a quite obviously used) 160GB SATA hard drive that I did not authorize them to buy for my computer or install. My MoBo (Motherboard) was missing screws in it (why they were unscrewing my MoBo in the first place is beyond me) and one of my USB ports was fried. I pretty much told them I was not paying them since they broke more then they fixed, and after threatening the owner to give me back my PC (before they could do any further harm to it) he gave me my PC and told me he was calling the cops on me for not paying. Since he has no case, no cops were ever called I guess.

Oh and all I needed them to do was have a DOS expert recover a corrupted file for me on my hard drive, save it to my USB flash drive after recovering it, format the hard drive and reinstall my copy of Windows.

Took my laptop there Friday. By Monday I was able to pick it up with everything fixed. Diagnostic costs $50 and the repair cost $75 but since I got it repaired I didn't have to pay the diagnostics fee. Overall a good experience.
