Sushi Cocoro Japanese Rstrnt

Cocoro is the best sushi in bergen county and that is not even adjusting for the more than reasonable pricing. Its a very clean but smallish location. Is much nicer on the inside than the strip mall appearance would give you from the outside.

I personally think its better than many locations in the NYC. I dont want to say this is the best sushi, but it is better than most places i have tried locally.

I've been going to sushi restaurants for about 10 years all around NJ and around the country, and Sushi Cocoro is by far one of the best I have been to around. Close to real high quality sushi(although of course not 5 star restaurants in NYC quality) but for my money the best around the location and definitely closest to top quality. Also the fish is always fresh when I go there, and their spicy tuna rolls are some of the best I've had, along with the chicken teriyaki is very clean and very filling. by far the cleanest and most fresh sushi around. Even though there are sooo many japanese restaurants around I would take the extra 15 minute to come here anytime. The people are friendly and there is always service with a smile.

I am a chef by trade. I had dinner here tonight; and the sashimi was excellent.....very fresh. I recommend it for casual local Japanese and Sushi. It seems sketchy being in a strip mall, but the food was very good, and the fish very fresh.
