They really raised their prices. The quality if fine. The seating is fine for lunch, but for dinner you will be sitting on someone's shoulders. It is too cramped. You will be listining to the people's conversation next to you and really get to know all about their life by the time you leave. My elbow kept touching the guy sitting next to me. That's how close the next table is. I did not think it was worth the expense because of the layout.
The place is quite good, probably the best Japanese restaurant in the area.
Come early or make a reservation - it is almost full and you would have to wait for a place. The sushi and sashimi is so fresh you can't believe it and main courses (both fish and meat) are exceptional. Parking could be a problem which is one more reason to come early.
Simply the Best: Sakura Bana is one of the best in the country. They prepare to order, offer a great selection of fresh favorites. Just completely remodeled! FYI, they don't take reservations and the liquor store next door moved to chestnut street.
