i dont know what happened but there food is downright nasty, pizza is always burnt, sauce is like water, and i dont think there dinners are that great, i ordered chicken alfredo and was sick for 2 days...... i wouldn't go again!!!!
Salivating at the thought: Pizza is PERFECT. I've had numerous calzone's, pasta dinners, and side entree's. Great local establishment and I pray that they never leave. This building use to be Danforth's old restaurant. I sure miss their food as well. I've gone there plenty of times as a young kid, especially after the first day of school. It was a ritual of ours. I still remember my first root beer float.
Again, this is a GREAT local establishment with GREAT service and I pray they service the local area for years to come.
Cammerino's Pizza: God, I miss this place :-(: Seems that I can only do reviews of American establishments at present, so I thought I'd talk about the restaurant just up the road from my parents-in-law's house in Ogdensburg, NJ. Though only a small restaurant, Cammerino's has a lovely ambience, friendly staff, & most importantly of all, delicious pizza!
The Chicken Parmigiana pizza is absolutely incredible, the dough is just right: not too thin, not too thick, the tomato sauce is plentiful & the chicken topping very generous. Cammerino's also do plenty of other pizzas, different pasta dishes, sandwiches, starters, desserts & have a great choice of soft drinks ranging from Coke to Minute Maid Lemonade to Nestea Ice Tea.
I dined here the first time with my wife, daughter, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law & sister-in-law. The price was very reasonable considering there were a lot of mouths to feed. A few weeks later, I phoned them to get two large pizzas (one Margarita, one Chicken Parmigiana) delivered & they were very prompt in doing so. Not long after my brother-in-law & I stopped off in their one lunchtime after a long walk to indulge in a cheaply-priced slice of pizza each.
I can't really fault Cammerino's at all, I only haven't given them full marks because I never give ANYONE ANYWHERE full marks. The only negative point I'll make in this review is that, now I'm back living in the UK, I'm sorely disappointed & saddened not to be able to eat at this fabulous restaurant again.
