Country Pancake House

THIS PLACE WAS FILTHY! I had seen a segment on TV highlighting Country Pancake House. It sounded so good, I thought I would take a drive out there and give it a try. I went there Sunday afternoon, May 24. Well, it was a very upsetting and disappointing experience. There was food, trash and take out containers all over the dining area floor. Not just little bits here and there, there was trash everywhere! It was the most unappetizing scene. I ended up not eating there and walking out. So I did not try the food, but because of the disgustingly filthy environment in the dining area, I do not recommend this restaurant and will not return to give it another try.

Not a very people friendly restaurant. The food might be good but the service and attitude of the servers are poor. Definitely would not recommend anyone going here. My mother went there on a Thurs. morning around 10:00 (so not a real busy time) and requested to be seated by the wall not in the middle. A person from the kitchen came out and told her she will sit in the middle or she will not eat there. Well my mother left in tears!!!! THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!!!!!!

as a parent myself i would think it is obvious that a small child is a safety liability...usually parents don't look after their children in restaurants which then results in their children running around, hitting their heads on table tops because that is their height, waving their arms and falling out of high chairs, getting hot food spilled on themselves... and so yes the service at any restaurant with a server that has common sense would act as though a child under the age of 12 would be a safety liability.

the food is excellent here and my children love coming here, they are crazy about the coloring mats althought there are only about 5 animals on them haha! and the portions are enormous, leaving me to split a normal omelette with between myself and my 3 kids (all under the age of 10). deffinitly chick it out!
