I attended a party at the Brownstone. Let me start with the parking. You will be lucky to get any, the valet stole my husband's GPS. I waited on line to get into the women's bathroom, there was only one and it smelled from human sewage and filth. We asked the staff where our pary was and nobody spoke English or knew anything. The DJ did not know where to set up because of the problem of the staff not directing his company and not knowing which one of the many rooms the party was in. I could hear music from more than one party which was irritating. After the hall screwed our DJ up as well as late food, we were kicked out of the room so fast to make way for thier next party which was so rude. The food was equal to hospital food. One of the guests could not find her purse and we found out the staff stole it but did get it back after a lot of aggravation. There was a man cursing the guests. I guess that must of been the owner, to get out. I would not reccomend this place to anyone.
We recently attended a wedding, the food was excellent and the service professional. The atrium room for the reception, gardens and fountains were stunning. We have been at two other events here over the past few years and all were wonderful. The realty TV show has no relevance to the catering facility. Just remember they worked for their success.
I've been to weddings and a bridal shower at the Brownstone. After watching the wasteful and ridiculoues lifesyles of the women on The Housewives of New Jersey I would not give them any of my money for any event, which are obviously WAY overpriced! I'm currently looking for a place for my baby shower, and would NEVER consider this place. Are they all wasteful, entitled people? Maybe I will just tell my mom to have it at her house and SAVE BIG TIME. Then we can afford a nice weekends somewhere instead of their 3 yr. old having dresses that cost hundreds!

what does this have to do with REVIEWING THE BROWNSTONE?? this is not tv guide. get a grip
Well I totally understand what the person is saying about not wanting to dish money over to people like that, they after all are not very nice people, however the poster may have wanted to post it as a blog someplace else...It really does not have anything to do with the performance of the facility. That is what I am interested in.
