    BEST, I repeat, BEST steak sandwiches and Pizza. Ambiance isn't too great but you won't notice once you sink your teeth into the food. Service is great too.

    Thank God the lights are dim but there is no place that has better pizza or steak sandwhiches in the USA. The service is excellent too. No wonder people don't mind waiting on line to get in.

    Now I rate Lido's a 5 star based on food and food alone - particularly the sliced steak and the pizza. I recommend not deviating from those menu items as you may be disappointed. This is not a burger or pasta joint (although good, not phenomenal), it is a pizza and sliced steak joint! If you walk in and it is a bit off putting, remember that this isn’t Friday's! They aren't trying to lure you there on atmosphere. They pride themselves on good food and service and don't advertise because their clientele does it for them. This is how it has been for over 35 years and that’s how I want them to stay! Lido's, you are the best!
