This is the neighborhood deli that my family grew up with.

Best potato salad and roast beef ever. Hands down. No comparison.

Their potato salad consists simply of thinly sliced potatoes. mayo, and seasoning. Nothing else in there - sounds simple but it is phenomenal. You will be immediately hooked once you try it.

Their store-made roast beef is beautifully rare, perfectly lean, and very thinly sliced. Once you have it, it will be hard to want anyone else's.

My brother visits from out West several times a year and the minute he gets in town, before he even comes to the house, he is at Ingwersen's getting a pound of roast beef, 2 pounds of potato salad and a bag of hard rolls.

They have an array of the standard deli items as well as a number of German meats and products and on Friday's they make this great fish filet but the roast beef and potato salad - best I have ever had. Go get some, you will not be disappointed.
