    Stopped here for lunch with a friend. The food was nothing to write home about, but then Irish "pubs" are not exactly known for gourmet cuisine. You do have to admire the black facade of the bar's exterior, because it's the only interesting sight IN Bergenfield. I also slipped in on a weekend night out of curiosity. Well it killed this cat. Horrendous "metal" and "rock hits" cover band, the crowd was typical Jersey trash. All the guys were loud morons and the slutty girls all looked exactly the same with their big bleached hair. Not my scene- but I didn't expect much. They do have a huge selection of brews and guiness on tap, if that's your thing. Lot's of longtime residents can be seen pathetically puffing away on their cancer sticks at any hour on your twenty minute trip down Washington Avenue. Amusing and depressing at the same time !

    Good Times in Bergenfield: Good food and great people are the standard fare at Tommy Foxs.

    Food is good if they get it right: Mistakes are numerous out of the kitchen...not good at making it up to you...but food is good if you get lucky!
