Kuma Japanese & Chinese

Finally good Chinese AND Japanese at once.: If your the type that likes sushi and tempura with your Chinese, or won ton soup with your chicken teriyaki...this is the place. Many places boast having both Chinese and Japanese food down, but this place actually does. The sushi is great...fresh and tasty...the Chinese food is really good, really fresh and the sauce is light and flavorful and compliments the food instead of being heavy and overpowering. The environment in the restaurant is nice, good for family or a nice date. The location (across the hall from KFC) isn't great but if you sit in the further back area of the restaurant you don't notice. The prices aren't much higher then most Chinese takeout, and the dishes are usually big enough to serve family style. This has got to be the best simple Chinese food in the area, the only real contender is Lotus Cafe or Cheng Du, however neither can beat Kuma's prices. The staff is friendly and social, although not all of the waitresses speak English very well, the hostess however is a very friendly, sharp lady who will talk up a storm with you. An interesting additive to the menu that sounds good, although I have not tried it yet: Tempura Ice Cream...sure bets here..the tempura, the sushi, the chicken and broccoli and the tripple shrimp. mmmm

Up to par with other restaurants in the area......: Overall experience was good, delivery took a while for being pretty close to the location, other then that, good people, food was good, I'd order from them again, but this time wouldn't wait until i was starving! :)
