Good Deal: This location is connected to the Garden State Plaza and one might think that means it is always packed, but there is usually plenty of seating. Of course, the Friday and Saturday night dinner rush is going to see the heaviest traffic. They have a seating section right outside the restaurant doors out in the mall itself. Since its consistently noisy in the mall and that section is right by a well used mall exit, we see no added charm in having hundreds of people parade by, gawking at what you're eating. Inside, Ruby Tuesdays has an excellent salad bar. Better than Charlie Browns, and way better than the old Sizzler joints. This Garden State Mall location though, has the salad bar right at the main doorway, so if there are people waiting for a table, they are temptingly close to the food. The menu items are standard fare for the Fridays/Houlihans/Bennigans type eateries. The big promotion that brought us there is the ads for the Triple Prime burger. They harp on the word "prime" when describing the tenderloin, ribeye, and sirloin cuts that are suposedly combined to compose the ground beef. No cheese, just lettuce and tomato, and a garlic mayonnaise topping that gives it a nice kick. I always have mine medium and it has been very good each time. This location is very clean and pleasant, with plenty of TVs around the bar to watch the games.
