Why is it, I wonder, that the only two reviewers that have positive things to say have the same terrible grammar, spelling, sentence structure and punctuation? Also, they commented on several reviews including their own!! Something fishy there folks.
I think that Lynns has been amazing. My two daughters have been dancing their for several years now. They have loved it so much. Their classes have been amazing with all of the nice and young teachers. I think that Lynn is an amazing teacher to my kids and she just likes everything to be her way. Everybody has their own tastes about things and Lynn can do what ever she wishes to her classes and studios. A lot of people are now dropping out of Lynn's Dance Connection. I think that is because, of her taste and how she teaches dancing. Their last Hip-Hop teacher would make them call him energy and if they sad his reall na,e they would have to do pushups. My daughters friend dropped out of dance because of that. That is not Lynn's fault it is his. Now that every body is starting to dropp out because of lynn but its not her fault. My advise is to stay at Lynns for the expirence and fun. Soon Lynns will be at the top and she will have a great time
For the record I think everyone is missing the problem here. It is not the 8 teachers who have now left, it's who is still there that is the real issue. Why all of the sudden are all these teachers out the door? The heart and soul of the studio is the owner. She is not warm or friendly to her students or clients, why should we assume she is different with her staff? The facade that was going on for many years was that you were met by and were dealing with people who represented Lynn, not Lynn herself. Those people happened to be warm and gracious and professional and helpful. They were understanding and generous with their time and advice. They are no longer there and you get Lynn herself now. There is just no comparison. She is not a people person and on a personal level she leaves me very cold. I have my own business and I know for sure that a good business person knows their weaknesses and hires people to do what they can not. Lynn has removed the people who could do what she could not. I could speak volumes but it does not need to be. The fact remains that teachers are leaving that school at an alarming rate, and the common denominater is the owner. So it does not matter if the new ballet teacher is wonderful (which he is) because there is no telling how long he will be at the school or what frustration you will have to put up with to take his classes. He may very well go down the same path as the last eight.. there is no reason to assume that the problems that came between them and the owner will not come up with him as well. People are reluctant to call a spade a spade, but the facts are clear here. While the teachers who left were wonderful and are missed sorely by the students and parents, we could have gotten over anything had the situation been handled the right way. The problem is the owner and anyone who banks on her new teacher or anything else is not looking at the whole picture.
