User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAndy, John & Lars help to make each trip to Sabatos a fun time. They are some of the nicest people and their quality of product is through the roof. Their chicken cutlets, no matter how they are prepared, have a great signature flavor that lets you know you are eating cutlets from Sabatos. Without question their homemade Italian sausage is the best my family has ever had, even surpassing the sausages we grew up on in Brooklyn and Hoboken. I have never had any item from the guys that was not absolute top notch quality. Please remember to check out their freezer section where you can find items such as home made perogies, awesome hamburger patties (really good!), sausage patties (available with peppers and onions already cut up inside the patties) and do try the ravioli in the freezer section as well. They offer such unique ravioli stuffings like red peppers, mushroom (personal favorite) and of course cheese. Even the seafood salad is great. I have been a loyal customer for over fifteen years and will never stop going to Sabatos. The men at the store make you feel as if you are walking into "Cheers" as they greet you and are always pleasant and quick with a joke. But there is no joke when it comes to their product. Sabatos is the best butcher shop in central New Jersey, if not the entire state. If you haven't been there, please make the trip and give them a shot. You will be hooked after your first time. Thanks guys for keeping a wonderful tradition of quality and customer service alive in a time that many others have let it slip.

Sabatos provides excellent quality and old-fashioned friendly service. Their fresh sausages are store-made and delicious. The store is just 2 minutes away from route 35 and route 36. Worth a trip.
