Luigi's pies are among the best I've ever had. They are truly unique. Different than your run of the mill pizza shop serving good traditional pie, Luigi's is thinly crusted with a superb, tangy, sauce. You will not be disappointed. Long since considered one of the best pies on the Jersey shore, at least in Monmouth County, I'm surprised that mine is the first review. Interestingly, larger sized pies come in square rather than circular shapes which kids especially love because, of course, the middle pieces have no crust. For those of you looking to try Luigi's for the first time I HIGHLY recommend doing so. I'm certain you will not have tasted any other pizza quite like their's. My family has enjoyed Luigi's for the last 30 years. One thing to keep in mind however is that they only offer take out, and believe me they do a high volume business. Anyway, Doris Ave is located off of Hwy 35 and is easy to miss if your not paying attention, so keep your eyes open.
