Shrewsbury Arms Apartments

This complex is absolutely disgusting. I am in the process of moving my mother out of here as soon as possible. In the one year that she has resided here, we have had to call the exterminator for fleas twice and we do not have pets! It is unexceptable and not to mention it took 3 weeks to a month before the extermiantor had come.

Outstanding place to call home with everything near by. Such positive people are in the area and the staff is outstanding.

May Want to Look Elsewhere - Noise is a Problem: It's in a good area, good places to shop, good schools, but the apartment has a number of cons. The most glaring is lack of soundproofing. Even with quiet neighbors, you can hear a good deal of noise. Be especially aware that if you live downstairs, and you have inconsiderate neighbors upstairs - as we've had - the noise level is akin to that of being inside a football stadium! No balcony or outside space to speak of. New owners (as of 2006) may make some changes, (and hopefully get rid of some of the clap trap that has been coming in as of late), but the lack of sound proofing - especially with noisy neighbors, and a less than competent staff make this complex a questionable choice.
