I went there one Saturday for a half hour reflexology. I called ahead of time to ask the price and was quoted $40 for a half hour. I had a $50 gift certificate to use which I assumed would cover the $40 and tip. Come time to pay, the woman says $48 and change. So I asked her if that included the tip. She said no, only tax, so I asked her if the tax was $8?? So she said no it's $45 plus tax. She was chatting on the phone laughing with her friend at the same time and seemed annoyed that I questioned her. Then I asked her if she would give me the change to put towards the tip and said "no, don't worry she'll get it" and handed me a small envelop to leave the rest of the tip in the container on the counter and continued her conversation with her friend on the phone. I picked up a flyer on my way out to double check the charge thinking perhaps the prices went up and it says that a half hour reflexology is $40. I tried to contact the owner via e-mail and regular mail just to ask about this and received no reply. I did not like this place. There are so many other nice spas (larger) and with polite employees who don't try to rip you off for a lousy $5 so I felt like sharing this experience.

I went to this spa for a facial one Saturday. They were very good about accommodating us at the last minute. However, they had appointments after ours so we were rushed and never got to fully relax and enjoy the treatment. There were children screaming and running around outside the door which didn't help. The room that the facial took place in was small cramped and not closed off enough to prevent outside noise interference. Affinity has no ambience or atmospher to speak of. The worse thing was that when we walked out of the room they never changed the sheets for the next person that walked in. Now granted it was a kids facial party, but I still believe the sheets shoudl be fresh. I wouldn't go back!
