    This is a shore tradition but I am beginning to feel that more is riding on tradition than quality. The pizza is good, but just doesn't seem to stand up to the same fare from years ago. I stopped by to pick up a pizza for home and by 15 minutes later, it was a bit tasteless and dry.

    This is by far the best pizza I have ever tasted. I live in California and look for any excuse I can to get back east and dive into a Pete and Elda's XXL pie. The place is great and the staff is very friendly. Do not forget to try the garlic cheese bread. If you are in the area, I HIGHLY recommend stopping by and having a pie. I'd give it 10 stars if the scale went that high.

    Pete and Elda's is the best spot for pizza and fun on the Jersey Shore. More than worth the ride from anywhere. The bar and wait staff are the friendliest around. Stop in to see Betty at the tables and Paul at the bar. You will have a great time and if nothing else the best pizza around....
