If you need a large, intimate restaurant with great food, great ambiance, plenty of parking and NO DISTRACTIONS, Lucky Garden is my company's #1 choice when we entertain corporate firms in the Budd Lake foreign trade zone as well as firms like M and M Mars. Lucky Garden's lovely couple have made all our functions a phenomenal success as well as being able to accommodate our corporate luncheons and parties of close to 100.
Hey, Lucky Garden, you've always made me look good and I look forward to booking our next luncheon.
I love Lucky Garden. It's a huge, spacious, airy restaurant with a lot of natural light coming in from it's wooded location giving it a very cozy and comfortable feel as if you've been invited to fine dining in someone's country home.
I've never gotten a bad meal here and all my friends whom I bring to visit from New York City find this gem of a restaurant the highlight of their trip. Their spare ribs, sesame chicken and lobster dishes are mouthwatering. The service impeccable. You will never get a meal that isn't prepared fresh here. How could I possibly give it less than 4 stars? This area of NJ has very few good restaurants. Lucky Garden is Excellent.
Lucky Garden has the most scrumptuous chinese food I've ever eaten. It is an oasis, hidden in the hamlet of Budd Lake NJ off of route 46. Rumor has it, celebrities like 'The Boss' - Bruce, have the food driven clear down to the his home in Freehold.
The Sesame chicken is their signiture dish, and as the reviewers said below, every dish is carefully made from scratch from this lovely and gracious Hong Kong couple. The restaurant is huge and spacious and only frequented by outsiders as the locals go to the buffet, all you can eat chinese restaurants of questionable cuisine.
Lucky Garden is worth the trip as I'm reminded as I not wolf down yesterday's left overs.
