Just stumbled on these reviews and had to chime in. Do yourself a favor and do not even consider this place or Sanbar Marina. Customer satisfaction is a joke to these people.

Absolutely the worst marina on the lake! Beware!

We purchased a jet boat that blistered extensively due to a manufacturer’s defect. This dealer told us it wasn't covered and wanted to leave it at that. Then they referred us to the manufacturer who said their boats could not be kept in water without blistering (unless bottom painted). Finally, after consulting with attorneys and having the boat surveyed the owner spoke with us and agreed to fix the boat. The boat was sent to the factory in ND and was not returned on the date promised. When my husband asked the owner where our boat was he got in his face, turned red and said he was going to “hang us out to dry”. He certainly did as he did not tell us that Sugar Sand had gone Bankrupt. Customer service at its best. The salesman that sold us the boat responded to our last review by calling us a liar. If you don't believe us, feel free to email and we will be happy to sit down with you and show you the 12 inch file of documentation we have.

We have spent over $8,000 in legal, repair and shipping fees plus the original purchase price of almost $24,000. We received the boat back in a million pieces with no help from these clowns.

So..unless you want to learn a very expensive lesson as we did, I strongly suggest dealing with a reputable and honest dealer – both of which you will NOT find at either of this owner's Marinas.

Please don't make the same mistake I did and buy a boat from Sandbar. A week after buying a used boat I had a warranty issues, Sandbar said it was not covered. It took it to a good dealer and it was covered with out issue. No people skills and the place is a dump.
