Carmine's Pizzeria & Rstrnt

If you want EXCELLENT food and some of the best pizza in NJ, go to Carmines. You will not be disappointed. The crust is fantastic. The service is good. They get the food to you quickly. My family has been going there for years. The food is as good today as it was 30 years ago.

I must agree. The service at Carmine's is the WORST.
But they have good food.

My husband and I have been getting food from Carmine's since we moved to Netcong in 2004. We always found their service (except for the girls behind the register) to be EXTREMELY rude...but we put up with it b/c we liked their pasta. Well, after making a complaint one evening b/c we were given hardly any pasta for the same price as always (initially I thought I was over charged), we were told we'd be "credited for both orders of gnocchi". When I went in this evening expecting to get my gnocchi free of charge they had only taken $5.00 off per order...the manager argued with me very rudely as to the amount of the credit; finally I said then I don't want it, so he rudely said to the girl at the counter..."fine, just give it to her then". When my husband got home he called to ask why they must always be consistently rude to people, and the response was "look, you got two free meals so have a nice life" and then he hung up. I will NEVER EVER return to this place again and will be telling everyone I know to do the same. They are over priced, don't deliver and speak to their customers like trash...and I am not referring to just this instance either...they are rude EVERY SINGLE TIME!!
