Nice setting food leaves a lot to be desired was very good at one time what happened???
Palatable standard pub food. If you read their menu online and were looking forward to wild game, forget it. Definitely call ahead for actual menu items. Nothing special there, aside from the atmosphere. If you're concerned about portion size, don't bother. A glass of Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio is $8.00/glass, and it comes barely half full. The fried calamari had no flavor aside from the dipping sauces. It was slightly rubbery, and it was a child's portion. After being advised that their menu wasn't what they advertise online, we settled for fish and chips and a steak sandwich. The fish and chips was a wonderful order of waffle fries with three, very small pieces of batter-dipped fish. They literally looked like three Zeppole's sitting there. The prices definitely don't match the quality or the portions. Basically, it seems we're paying for the atmosphere only.
The place is a deceptive rip-off and I doubt I'll waste the trip again.
Great food, Great atmosphere and the best home brewed beer on the east coast. I am personally "hooked" on Hookerman Light, a special brew named after a local haunting. (The Hookerman legends are around several local communities in the area. Usually involving a light going along the road). Also serve wild game. The Bison Burger is A-1!
