One of my favorites for years and years. They serve authentic Italian dishes (not the American versions like many other places in Morris County) and the service is always top notch. The owner is a great guy who has always gone out of his way to make us happy and comfortable.

ok. It was my first time at this restaurant and I don't have anything good to say about this place.
atmosphere- it looks like they are permantely stuck in 1987. seriously I think I was the youngest person in the place by at least 35 years.(i'm 32) I love our senior citzens but don't want to feel like i'm filming the movie Cocoon 3 on a saturday night out.
appetizers- the worst!! fried calamari, served on a plain plate with no garnish. they looked more like bad onion rings than calamari. picture the plastic colored key rings babies play with, add a horrendous flouring coating and que the fishy day old taste and that is what i got. mussel marinara- again fishy old taste- poor presentation
service- we sat after the appetizers were served and finished(i didn't contribute too much to finishing them) for at least 35-40 minutes before our waitress returned from god knows where and told us "i'm sorry i've asked the kitchen like 10 times for your food"
that was literally the last time we saw and heard from her. she didn't serves us the food and she didn't offer us dessert somebody else did. and somebody else gave us the bill.
entree- i had the veal ossonbucco it was ok(how can you screw that up, the animal does all the work) the rissoto tasted like warm rice pudding without the sweetness.
4 people = 180 dollars. --- i don't mind paying that much when the meal and service is good, but I am disturbed when i pay that amount and it's that bad.
i have never written a review online and thought i should start with this place. it was garbage. i guess people who like places like red lobster, olive garden, macaroni grill and appleby's feel this is high dining with exceptional food. (a real treat)
or people that tragically lost their taste buds in something bizarre accident
i would not be complaining if the bill was say 50 bucks, because then you can almost expect it. but when you go out and charge that kind of money along with valet parking and fancy servers in fancy clothes; how dare you give me food and service like that.
it boggled my mind that the dining room was full. a co-worker of mine tried to warn me, but i failed to listen. my sister in law had been there years ago and said that place was "disgusting" so i guess i deserve it.

Im very dissapointed with this restauran...I just had dinner tonight. My first and last time!!!!. The fried calamari was beyond awful!!...Our mean dish took an hour to arrive....We were a party of 4. The 4 dishes were ok...not worth the price.....my stake had not flavor...and my friends were just tasteless. I won't came back ever again..my friends either. Don't waste your money here..save it and go eat in a better place!
