    stink of the septic tank is unappetizing: Went for Valentines Day 2 years ago, the service, food and cost was incredible. Went back twice since, and the smell of the septic tank in the parking lot is nauseating, the service is awful, the food was terrible.

    Good Food, Fair Price: If you like casual dining, then The Homestead is for you. I've been going there at various times over the past 3 years and I enjoy the burgers, the wings, the calamari, and the beer. If you go there and are lucky enough to have Danielle as your server, then you will have a great dining experience. Enjoy...

    Not Impressed: This restuarants claim to fame is that it was used for a location in the movie In & Out. Once you get over that, it doesn't have much to offer. The decor has a nice horse theme, but the food is calorie ladden, and way too much. The service is pleasant enough but even with repeated visits, no one goes out of their way to offer recognition, even with an overtipping incident. Would rather go to another choice that is more upscale and actually cheaper for lunch.
