User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsYes yes yes. Any of the sloppy joe's....my personal recommendation - roast beef. Make sure you get a pickle on the side and a half and half. If they have chocolate chip cookies you're in luck.
On several occasions I have driven an hour just to get a sloppy joe from this place. You will love it too!-

I placed an order for a tray of mixed sandwiches and beverages for our board of directors meeting. I asked for a 6:00PM delivery but the order was delivered at 11:30AM. The sandwiches were dry! I also requested condiments on the side....there were none....not even napkins and plastic utensils. I called to ask for an explanation but Anthony (who took the order) "stepped out." Buyer beware!!

I was looking for the phone number for Towne Deli and saw this. I grew up in Summit and moved back 6 years ago and let me tell you Old Towne Deli is the best!!! Not only is their food the best, the staff and owners go out of their way for you every time. I go there for breakfast sandwiches, lunch, or even just their 1/2 and 1/2's I have used their catering and No One Does It Better.
I wrote the negative comment about Towne Deli several months ago. The situation was very well taken care of and I must say the service is now superb! We are now regular customers. The food and service is excellent...and they won first place in the Star Ledger's Food Mobile contest for best cookies!!!!
