Movies: My wife and I like this theatre because its small and not like the mega-plexes and they choose to show films that are artistically important and not always the most popular at the box office. Its a little less intimidating in stealing your money for over-priced junk food.

My only gripe would be that it should take advantage of its unique audience and be more interactive with emails, special offers, polls, etc. where the audience can help determine the content and style of the theatre. Its really taking advantage of he community feeling.

I usually go to evening shows so dancing feet are not a problem.

I used to love this little local theater, especially since it shows indies and foreign films, but it's taken a huge turn for the worse. A dance studio is operating directly above the theater, and all you hear during the movie is the pounding on the ceiling from the dancers. It doesn't stop, and it completely ruins the film. Although I live only minutes from this theater, I'll drive into Montclair from now on to see independent films and won't return to Roberts. Yes, it's that bad.
