User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOn 6/20/09, I ate at Melange Cafe. My food was so good I could not stop eating. I was reffered to this place by a friend & she was right U must stop in to try the food. It was made fresh & the service was extremly good. I like good food & this is the place to go.

While living in S.Jersey-Melange Cafe was one of my favorite places to dine. Fast forward years later-I now live out of state came back to Jersey for a visit-excited to visit Melange. Atmosphere still great - however the service & food had definitely changed. I had the artichoke salad - it was withered & not very fresh. My main course was the Vegetarian Jambalaya - the taste was equivalent to a store-brought-box-brand. The wait service - "forget about it" - horrible. Unfortunately Melange has changed for the worst.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is one of my favorite restaurants: The chef owner is a fabulous cook, I bring guests and I am sure they will get an origional and wonderful meal. The atmosphere is nice, cozy and casual.
