    Great Food. Although Tim is no longer there the restaurant proves to be successful. I have eaten there when Tim was tehre and have eaten when he left to move down South.... The food is still AWESOME. I highly recomend their Double Cut Pork Chop. It is good. I have tried many things on the menu and there was only one item I ate that I did not like... it was a special.
    In my experience I highly recomend this place.

    I like this place. Food is adventurous and flavorful. I really like their unique cuisines that they try. The ostrich, when they have it is great, as is the duck ( a mainstay on the menu). Not everything hits -- the jambalaya, for instance, is average - but you are almost always assured a good, and interesting, meal. Desserts are hit and miss but always excellent is the triple layer torte

    I have eaten at Tim Schafer's many times and I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed. Not only are the main courses exceptional, but they are also served in very generous portions. The seasonal salads and appetizers are even better! Nestor really makes guests feel welcomed and the entire staff aims to please. My only hesitation in offering this glowing recommendation is that it will be more challenging to get a last minute reservation!
