This is a true hometown family owned and operated plumbing company.
They charged us for what they did, which was by time and material. The bill listed the time they arrived and the time they left and included all the materials used. They were extremely prompt and the secretary was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. The technicians were as good as they come and know every aspect of plumbing. There was none of that nonsense spending hours trying to figure something out trying to run up the bill! They checked everything out and just fixed it, and very quickly too! True experts who know their field and they left our house cleaner than when they got there. They explained everything and showed the difference between Home Depot materials and real plumbing quality materials. Just because something looks the same does not mean it works the same! We learned a lot and will always call these professionals for all our plumbing needs.
This is a vacation home and in the past, we have had plumbers work on our home in North Jersey. I now know we are always being ripped off by those "Flat Rate" Plumbing companies who charge $75.00 just to show up and then whack you with a huge bill to actually perform the work based on figures in a book they carry with them. The $75.00 is just a travel fee! and for the same work which was completed in half the time by Barnegat Light Plumbing for $180.00, the flat rate company charged us $495.00!!!
We Give Barnegat Light Plumbing a 10 out of 10 stars for having an intelligent girl answering the phones and scheduling our job the same day and the incredible technicians who showed up and did the work in an extremely professional manner for a very reasonable fee! A true family owned and operated business who takes pride in what they do! Sorry this is so long, but the experience has overwhelmed us and in today’s world of grab what you can, Barnegat Light Plumbing is a true breath of fresh air! We only wish they could travel to north jersey and work on our other home!! If you live on LBI, give them a call. You will be happy you did!
