The company was started in the backyard of George "Chick" Weisman Jr. in 1941 as a part time job. In 1945 Chick decided to dedicate all his time to the Gibbsboro based block company and in 1962 Chick's Block Company was incorporated. To serve our customers better Chick's Block acquired two more sites: Clayton, NJ ( 1994 ) and Alloway, NJ ( 2001 ).
