Route 41 Car Wash

Cleaning was okay, not great by any means. Stuff was taken out of my car and not returned b/c they "forgot" to put it back in when I picked it up. Had to argue with them to get it back. I would never recommend this place to anyone for car detailing service.

Other car washes have the same prices and the service could not be much worse. Here's the tale.

I took my car to Rt41 for a wash. I bought and paid for "The Works" which is supposed to include among other things, interior vacuuming, dusting the dash, "Triple Clearcoast Polish" "Clearcoat Sealer Wax" "Tire and Wheel Cleaner" and "Tire Dressing."

Of those things, the only thing they did was dust the dash - and they missed an easy to reach 8 square inch patch. Didn't even touch it.

They did not polish or wax the car. They did not clean the wheels. They did not apply tire dressing. And they did not even complete the interior vacuum, for they did not vacuum along the sides of the seats.

When the guy told me it was done, I saw immediately that they had not done the tires and told him so. He told me I had to buy "the works" to have that done. So I had to show him the receipt, and then he squirted on tire black.

I did not notice the other stuff right away. When I did, I called. The counter clerk who was very nice said to bring the car back. I did. The clerk got the manager. I first complained about the wheels not being cleaned. "We don't do that," she said. I said, "The ad says that you do that." She said, "That's not what it means." We argued briefly, with me saying, "It means what it says," and her saying, "That's not what it means." Then she said, "You no understand," three or four times and walked away.

So I still have not got what I paid for. I paid for the works, they gave me the basic wash and did not even do a good job with that. You can get a better deal and better service elsewhere.

The best car wash in the state of new jersey no doubt. This car wash has the most machines and the best service for the right price especially when you have a coupon or if you come on a day that is 50% off.
