Village Cheese Shop & Bistro

very rude owners: The cheese shop is close to my home so last week I went in to see about purchasing a cheese tray for a family gathering. When I walked in the place was empty (that should have been my first clue). Anyway, a woman, who turns out to be the owner, was incredibly rude and dismissive. Despite having many types of cheese on display in a glass case, I was told that she would not put together a tray because I did not pre order. I tried explaining that I did not mind waiting, but she basically told me to get lost. She actually waived me away saying I should just sit at the counter and
order off that menu. I should also mention that last summer, when my mother was visiting from california, she walked to the cheese shop and ordered a cup of coffee to go. The woman behind the counter gave her the coffee, but complained as my mom left that "this isn't McDonalds."
I now see why the village cheese shop is often empty.
