User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI went to Mullica Hill Bridal to purchase my wedding dress because my sister in law to be had got her wedding dress from she had some problems too asked Julie to order a smaller dress because she was in process of losing weight she said everyone says that and ordered a bigger size when came time she needed a smaller dress like she said but since she got her dress there she gave me any dress on the rack for 50% off Which i thought was a little weird must be doing bad to sell the dress on the rack half off. My Mother in law to be paid half on her credit card and about a week later i went to pay the balance and they were closed that was my fault i never called first it was their scheduled day to be closed so i go the next day they were open and closed so i try calling the number and voice mail box was full. So i keep trying so i called my mother in law to be she kept trying to call and while at work wrote a letter and printed it to have her friend drop off on her way home. The note i had left in door was still there she was walking to her car and saw a back light on and knocked on the side door Julie came to the door and was thanking her for the letter saw her read it called my mother in law and told her i tryed calling and she wouldnt answer the phone. The next day i called when they were supposed to open and the other girl working there answered and said they were open and i could come in and pay the balance so i go to pay them and i walk up the lights are off and it has a sorry were closed sign so i start banging on the door and she comes up to the door then after talking to her and driving there she then tells me i can only make my final payment in cash. So at this point i have to drive again to wawa to go to atm and get cash out. Finally get back to store and pay and got to take my dress home. Thank god it was one that was on the rack i couldnt imagine if i had to order it. Worst experience I've ever had shopping. Especially a bridal store you do not do that to a bride!

My Fiancee is also having a ton of problems with Mullica Hill Bridal. Everything went ok when picking a dress but the horror has come 10 fold since then. Canceled appointments with out notice, over charges on our credit cards, dog hair and smell on the gown, torn veils. Julie, the owner is a disgrace to all other business owners. She never shows up at the store. She thinks because she was Miss NJ once and didn't go very far when challenged outside of NJ she can disrespect every customer that comes into her shop. Every visit presents itself with more difficulty. Other customers have been in the shop irate and screaming at the girls in the shop. Completely rediculous, Buyer Beware of Mullica Hill Bridal. This will be your worst experience with a business of your life. I gave this shop one star only because I didn't want you to think I forgot to mark one, if there were negative stars I'd mark them.

This was my daughter's first stop at trying on wedding gowns. We didn't need to go anywhere else. She was treated with such respect and given undivided attention. The salesgirl picked up on what she was looking for bringing her at least 14 dresses to try on. After narrowing it down to 5, she was given the opportunity to try them all on again. Not once were we pressured to purchase anything. I am going back next week for my mother-of-the bride dress. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for that "once in a lifetime" bridal gown shopping experience.

Please be careful. If you have not already ordered your daughter's gown there please order it some where else. I am currently having trouble with the shop. I ordered my gown almost a full year before my wedding. I am getting married in approximately two months and my gown is still not in. I have been given numerous shipping dates over the last 4 months and still no dress. My bridesmaids dresses and shoes and flower girl dresses were all ordered there. We do not have ANYTHING from them yet. I have spoke with the owner on numerous ocassions only to be told a different story every time I speak to her. No bride should have to go through what I am going through right now. I would hate to hear that someone else has gone throught this. After I already ordered all of the dresses I was toild a few stories of bad experiences had with the shop. I also did some research and there are a few bad blog postings on local websites as well as 2 complaints on the Better Business Bureau website. This should be one of the happiest and most exciting (and stress free) parts of wedding planning. No bride should have to worry about whether or not she will have a wedding dress. If you have already purchased the gown, please be aware and stay on top of Julie the owner (the only employee). Demand to see order forms and tracking numbers.

Dear Concerned Bride, YOU WERE RIGHT! I ordered my dress from them last June, a year in advance. Still no results with 5 months to go. I get a different story everytime I call as well. If I can even get through... We were going to order my bridesmaids dresses and she never showed up to open the shop the day of my appointment. I finally got a hold of someone this past week after calling for 3 MONTHS!!!!!

Yes - I'm sorry to say my first review was way off base. Hopefully we still have time to go elsewhere and find new dresses. Now comes the fun part of getting the deposits back.
