Jug Handle Inn

I would not recommend the Jug Handle to anyone. Although the food is o.k, the people who hang out in the downstairs bar are a bunch of losers. The bartenders are rude and intrusive and pay more attention to other people's business then doing their jobs. Which by definiton is serving their customers no matter what they feel personally about them. OH and my husband cheated on me with another woman which she told me about and like an idiot I'm still with him despite the fact that he still continues to cheat on me probably with her.

I have been going there for 25 years, and currently go there every wednesday night. If you like a local watering hole type atmosphere, you'll like the Jug. No fancy brass and glass here. Good place for a drink. The Guinness is the cheapest I've found in the area (though a couple of the bartenders need to learn to be more patient with the pour). The downstairs bar has a pretty good beer selection, and a classic shuffleboard (aka quoits) table.

The food is hit-or-miss. Back in the day, the Jug was the first place I knew of that specialized in wings. They're greasy but good. Sometimes they're scrawny though (but not always). I do agree with other reviewers about bartenders chatting with their friends, but its not that bad. I always get my drink.

Like a home away from home: The jug is a good time for drinking and eating. Bartenders are top notch. Food is fantastic. Great wings and the best Burger in South Jersey. Upstairs or down, you can't go wrong.
