I cant even get into all of the details about our disasterour time at the horrid place. Needless to say, my husband and I were having our 3 children baptised at adelphias. We went there to reserve a room. the day we showed up, they showed us where we were going to be and it was a little corner of a room that was being used for a FUNERAL!!! The room we were promised was not given to us. the wait staff was horrible and even injured one of my guests. i ended up having to serve MY guests coffee and tea. i will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! the food was bad also and the managers were completely rude and unwilling to rectify the situation.
Not only is the bar frequented by what seemed like the cast of Real World: North Jersey shore, the service was slow, the panini I ordered came on a kaiser roll and the sodas cost more than the beer. (Are you offering a complimentary cab ride home?) If that wasn't enough, I had already spent $40 when I was asked to remove my hat because of an 11:00 enforced dress code. The dance floor had mobile lights that caused epilepsy and the waitress poured beer all over my friend trying to fill a tower. All in all a horrible experience. The only plus was the pickle that came with my sandwich. While the facility is nice it needs to be run by someone who understands how to hire competent employees and better weed out douchebag customers other than white sneakers and baseball caps (especially during a Phillies game)
If you believe in equal rights, you should not patronize this restaurant. I was at Adelphia's on a Saturday night, my party which was very large had a private section for dinner, at around 10 pm they security informed us of a dress code, meaning anyone who was there earlier had to leave if they were not in dress code. We were then informed of the dress code, no white sneakers or Timberland boots. I decided to sit back and observe wether the dress code was enforced for everyone, or were they targeting blacks only.. When I finally had enough, I approched the security guard and was told " That's my problem" I then asked for the manager, I informed him of the racist parctices being exercised by security and informed him I would be filing a formal complaint. The manager, then told me I had to leave because I told him they were being racist. Please do not patronize this establishment. The worst you could not pay me to ever eat there again!!!!
