This hospital is incompetent and negligent! A family member was an inpatient for 11 days combined and they could not tell us what's wrong with her. They didn't even do proper testing. On the 11th day we were told the family member has cancer throughout her body and 45 minutes later we were told wait maybe it's not cancer maybe it's TB. They couldn't find root cause of simple symptoms and the amount of time to determine a diagnosis was an absolute disgrace. I don't know where these doctors got their medical degree but if you love your family member and want to know in a timely fashion what is wrong with your family member don't take them to Cooper!
This is the best Hospital in South Jersey! I am an employee and I have been a patient! I watch the Nurses and Doctors here work miracles here at Cooper!

I agree with ihate cooper,my son was an inpatient also for six days, during his stay a bronchosopy,thoracoscopy,x-ray, told my son they could not find anything but it might be TB, and discharged him, never refered him to any other doctor, two weeks later he goes to the ER, and young doctor x-rays him tells him he has a mass on the lung, this was in November 2008.Now it's March 2009,we find out he has cancer, like ihate cooper said Cooper is a disgrace, the doctors, they got their medical degrees from PepBoys or Sams club
I was saved by Dr. Moncure. He was the best surgical doctor in the planet. I am alive, and he did a super job. I could have died. The staff was really suportive and caring. I wasn't given any bad treatment. Oh in one instance it was a mistake of one pill, and all hospitals do this, if they were perfect and we were perfect, we wouldn't need to be "practicing physicians." Some mistakes are unavoidable. I am just really grateful that I received the timely care that was available. These people are angels. All the nurses try to give their best of love and support. I recommend this hospital to anyone.
All they talk about is the physicians who I have to agree are the pits. I went in for a lousy hernia operation and ended up on a ventilator for 12 days because my intestines were placed upon my diaphram. In addition, the nurses (not the ones in ICU) were the pits. There was only 1 nurse who knew what he was doing. The rest could have cared less. I will never go to Cooper again.
