Great Food,Good Service,Could get a little Pricey: I've been to this restaurant many times the seafood and Italian dishes are all excellent. The Waitstaff is consistent and knowledgable.
Drawbacks:The bald headed host can be rude at times almost like he is doing you a favor to eat there.
Since they have expanded the bar to the other portion of the restaurant it has become louder which needs to be addressed by the owners I realize that liqour is where they make their money, But when charging the prices they do for entrees it should have a more elegent feel.Whatever you do when making reservations ask to sit in "dining room only" because if you don't the rude bald guy will try to sit you there and the waiter will need a megaphone to speak to you.
I realize that all restaurants overbook reservations,But more then once we've waited longer then we should have for a scheduled reservation time.
Overrated.: We made a 7:30 reservation for 2 and had to wait until 10 after 8 to get a make shift table stuck half way into the bar. Apparently, that is where the waiters store the tray stands. They had to reach over our table every 10 minutes to get it. For all the hype, we expected a little more than frozen lobster ravioli and fishy crab meat in a blush sauce. The chicken was good but uninspiring for the price. Actually, the whole place was just okay. If I'm going to spend over $100 for two for dinners I expect more than average food and a table by a suburban bar with bad music. There's something wrong with having to listen to "Only the Good Die Young" and a mix of bad club music while trying to enjoy a supposedly romantic restaurant. I guess some people's standards are pretty low because the rest of the people there seemed to love the place. I don't get it.
The most romantic restaurant in South Jersey!: This is my favorite restaurant! The romantic atmosphere, the excellent dishes, the superb service and the best lump crab appetizer in the world!!!
